The AFSG Board wishes you and your families the happiest and healthiest holidays and New Year! Even though Thanksgiving has officially passed I cannot help but feel that we should be thankful every day of the year for the freedoms we have been blessed with and protected by the service and sacrifice of our military men, women and their families. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers over these very special holidays.
This new year will bring some new energy and challenges on how we can better grow our membership as successfully as we have been able to support our Wounded Veteran Foundations financially. Many members have expressed that we should meet more frequently on a social basis and not be just focused on our money raising events.
Thanks to our members who attended our November Membership meeting. A big Thank You also to Al Liedel, past president, who collected great donor raffle prizes from Saigon Kitchen, Irish Wolfhound and Swing Therapy. Also Thanks to Dan Swafford for his Bro Dan’s Hawaiian Sauce!

We are excited to announce our first (but not last) AFSG Social Event. We have already received positive responses so please put the date on your calendar and confirm your reservation ASAP. We need a final count for Restaurant by mid January.
Wealth Management Charity Golf Tournament
Thanks again to Dan Meier and Judy Thomas of Wealth Management International for sponsoring their 2nd Annual Charity Tournament that supported the AFSG and its Wounded Veteran support foundations! Over 100 golfers participated and many AFSG members who showed their support! Great job everyone!

Our new website is in the process of being designed. The manager is requesting original photos from our veteran members of you in uniform. Please bring to Barry at 19725 N Rim Drive or call for pickup 6233985242. Please enclose picture(s) in an envelope with your address printed clearly. They will be scanned and returned directly to you.
AFSG - 10th Annual Wounded Veterans Golf Event
Never too early to mark your calendars for 2019. Our Annual Wounded Veterans Event will be held on March 8 & 9, 2019. The Sponsor Dinner will be held on the 8th and the Golf/Raffle Drawing will be held on the 9th. It is never too early to begin collecting Raffle Donations and Sponsor Donations for this event.
If you know of a potential donor, I have also attached a Donor/Sponsor Receipt form and a letter explaining to donors what our AFSG Clubs purpose and history. Fell free to give this letter to anyone who may have questions/concerns. Thanks!
