A Marine Staff Sergeant pays tribute during Rolling Thunder 2010. Over 300,000 Veterans on motorcycles from across the USA paraded in D.C. the Sunday before Memorial Day, while a solitary, saluting Marine greeted them out on Constitution Avenue. The Marine stood at salute for 3 straight hours, while the parade of roaring bikes kept on coming. Rolling Thunder is held in remembrance of MIA’s, POW’s and those who’ve fallen in the military.  Semper Fi.
Dear Members,
Many of you may have watched the 2019 Memorial Day Ceremonies at our nations capital this year on PBS. As always, it is an amazing tribute to our military men, women and their families. The link below is just one of those tribute stories told by Sam Elliot. As powerful and meaningful this true story of heroism is, multiply it by the thousands more meaningful experiences on D-Day and it becomes overwhelming.
Very wonderful explanation of what Memorial Day is actually all about.
A must see! God Bless America!
The mission of Honor Flight Arizona is to pay homage to our WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans by providing the support needed for them to complete a three-day journey of honor and remembrance to their memorials in Washington, D.C. at no cost to them...Learn More

Vietnam Wall

This is really sobering. First click on a state. When it opens, scroll down to the city where you went to high school and look at the names. Click on the name and it will give details of the person's death, a picture or at least their bio and medals.

This really is an amazing web site. Someone spent a lot of time and effort to create it.

I hope that everyone who receives this appreciates what those who served in Vietnam sacrificed for our country.

Pass the link on to others, as many knew wonderful people whose names are listed.
