Newsletters
Dear Members,

This Newsletter will be our final one for our 2021/22 club season. I want to update you on our successful 2022 Veterans Fundraising Event and also give you some information regarding our total donations since our Veteran support events began in 2009.

The 2022 Veterans Fundraising Event was again a great success. We are very proud to announce that a total of $57,665 was raised and distributed to our four Veteran Support Foundations: Soldiers Best Friend, Foundation for Service Dog Support, Honor Flight AZ, and Feherty’s Troops First.

Our grand total of donations made to our many different Veteran Support Foundations since 2009 is an amazing $740,524!

Needless to say, this total amount could only have been possible with the hard work and dedication of many volunteers! You know who you are and a big thank you from the many Veterans and their families. You are not only raising money for these valuable support foundations, but you are also continuing to raise awareness of the sacrifices made for our freedoms which is priceless.

AFSG Social

AFSG held a “Social” on April 18, 2022 at the Palm Center. What a great venue to hold a function at and we plan on doing it again in the future. Thirty-five members and guests attended and information about our 2022 Veterans Event Fundraiser was shared with everyone.

Closing Note

Whatever your plans may be for this summer, please stay safe. We look forward to the Fall when our activities will start up again.
